The advertisement places prelims in September 2026 and mains in November 2026. It does not print a day. No prelims result is posted on this drive. The backlog special drive CRPD/CR/SPLDRIVE/2026-27/16 is a separate recruitment.

Where a 2026 date is still TBA, the conducting body has not published it. Check the official notification linked on this page before you rely on a date.
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government, as on 31.12.2026. Final-year students may apply provisionally and, if provisionally selected, must prove they passed on or before 31.12.2026. Matriculate ex-servicemen who hold the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education, or the Navy or Air Force equivalent, after at least 15 years of service are also eligible. The certificate must be dated on or before 31.12.2026.
20–28 years
As on 01.04.2026. Born not earlier than 02.04.1998 and not later than 01.04.2006, both days inclusive. Upper-age relaxation: OBC 3 years, SC/ST 5 years, PwBD (Gen/EWS) 10, PwBD (OBC) 13, PwBD (SC/ST) 15. Ex-servicemen: defence service plus 3 years (8 years for disabled ex-servicemen who are SC/ST), subject to a maximum age of 50. Widows, divorced women and women judicially separated who have not remarried: 7 years, subject to 35 (General/EWS), 38 (OBC) or 40 (SC/ST). Trained SBI apprentices have a further schedule in the advertisement. Cumulative age relaxation is not available.

No. This page is the regular drive CRPD/CR/2026-27/17. The separate special recruitment drive for SC/ST/OBC backlog vacancies is CRPD/CR/SPLDRIVE/2026-27/16. The backlog figures on this page are the ones printed inside the regular advertisement, and the advertisement says they are net of that special drive.
The advertisement says the preliminary examination is tentatively in September 2026 and the main examination is tentatively in November 2026. It does not print a day. On 30 October 2026 the current document on this drive is the preliminary call letter. SBI has not posted a prelims result for CRPD/CR/2026-27/17.
There is no interview. Merit uses the mains aggregate only. Prelims marks are not added. A candidate who has not studied the opted local language in class 10 or 12 must take a local language test after provisional selection and before joining. The date of that test is not notified. Failing it means no appointment. A 10th or 12th certificate in that language is an exemption.
Regular posts: SC 1,114, ST 837, OBC 1,716, EWS 760 and General 3,253, total 7,680. Backlog in the same advertisement: SC 58, ST 161 and OBC 68, total 287. Together that is 7,967. PwBD and ex-servicemen reservations are horizontal and are already inside these posts. The vacancies are provisional. A candidate may apply for one State or UT only.
One-fourth of the mark assigned to a question is deducted for a wrong objective answer. Prelims has no minimum qualifying marks for a section or the aggregate, and section-wise marks are not maintained. Mains has a minimum aggregate percentage, with 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/XS/DXS. There is no minimum for an individual mains subject. Trained SBI apprentices who meet the advertisement conditions get 2.5% of mains maximum marks (5 marks out of 200) as bonus.
The scale is Rs 24050-1340/3-28070-1650/3-33020-2000/4-41020-2340/7-57400-4400/1-61800-2680/1-64480. Starting basic pay is Rs 26,730, which is Rs 24,050 plus two advance increments for graduates. Total starting emoluments at a metro such as Mumbai are around Rs 46,000 a month, including DA and other allowances at the current rate. The advertisement does not print a separate DA, HRA, CCA, gross, deduction and in-hand table. Probation is a minimum of six months. The application fee is Rs 750 for General, OBC and EWS, and nil for SC, ST and PwBD.
