Negative marking: For each wrong answer in an objective paper, 1/4 of the marks assigned to that question is deducted. Phase II objective questions are of 1 or 2 marks, so the deduction is not a flat 0.25. Descriptive answers are not under this penalty. Quoted from the RBI Services Board Phase-II information handout for General cadre, Panel Year 2026, on rbi.org.in. The Phase-I information handout uses the same rule.

Yes for two cadres. The General cadre final result is the RBI notice of 15 Oct 2026. The DEPR cadre final result is the RBI notice of 28 Oct 2026. Both cite Advt. No. RBISB/DA/01/2026-27. A DSIM final result was not on the RBI recruitment list on 30 Oct 2026. DSIM candidates shortlisted for interview are on the Phase-II result page.
The 29 Apr 2026 notice totals 60: General cadre 40, DEPR 10 and DSIM 10. By category the same 60 are GEN/UR 24, EWS 6, OBC 14, SC 11 and ST 5. PwBD posts (1, 0, 1 and 1 in categories A to D) are horizontal and are not added again.
The Phase-II information handout on rbi.org.in says that for every wrong objective answer, 1/4 of the marks assigned to that question is deducted. Some Phase II objective questions carry 2 marks and some carry 1 mark, so the penalty is not a flat quarter-mark on every item. Descriptive answers are not under that rule. Phase I uses the same 1/4 rule; each Phase I question is of 1 mark.
For the General cadre, Phase I is a shortlisting stage. The notice says the final merit list adds Phase II marks and interview marks (interview is 75). A personality assessment is held before the interview and carries no marks.
General cadre Phase I on 13 Jun 2026 was one objective paper of 200 marks in 120 minutes, with separate time for each test: General Awareness 80 questions and 80 marks in 25 minutes, English 30 and 30 in 25, Quantitative Aptitude 30 and 30 in 25, and Reasoning 60 and 60 in 45. The result page confirms those maximum marks.
Starting basic pay is ₹78,450 per month in the scale ₹78450-4050(9)-114900-EB-4050(2)-123000-4650(4)-141600 (16 years), plus allowances under rules in force. The notice says initial monthly gross emoluments without HRA are about ₹1,54,936, and HRA is 15% of pay if the Bank does not provide accommodation. It does not print a full DA, HRA, deduction and in-hand breakup.
