IBPS RRB Clerk — current cycle
The notification and its how-to-apply section said online applications would be taken from 1 to 21 September 2026. The corrigendum dated 21 September 2026 revised registration and fee payment for the whole CRP, Officers and Office Assistants, to 1–27 September 2026. A later date shown on an application portal screen is not that registration window. Other terms were unchanged, so age is as on 1 September 2026 and the degree result date stays 21 September 2026. The IBPS calendar dated 16 January 2026 places prelims on 6, 12 and 13 December 2026 and the main exam on 30 January 2027. IBPS can change those dates. Provisional allotment is only given as February/March 2027. There is no interview. Vacancy counts are the sums of the bank-wise totals in Annexure I as on 25 September 2026. Updates are listed at ibps.in/index.php/rural-bank-xv/.

FAQs
IBPS RRB Clerk Frequently Asked Questions
The how-to-apply section of the 1 September 2026 notification said 1 to 21 September 2026. The corrigendum dated 21 September 2026 revised registration and fee payment for Office Assistants, with Officers, to 1–27 September 2026. That corrigendum is the official window. A later date on an application portal screen is not the window in the notice.
The IBPS calendar dated 16 January 2026 schedules prelims on 6, 12 and 13 December 2026 and the main exam on 30 January 2027. IBPS can still change those dates. Provisional allotment is only given as February or March 2027.
No. Candidates who qualify in the prelims and are shortlisted sit the online main exam. Provisional allotment uses the main-exam marks and the vacancies reported by the RRB of the State or UT chosen in the application.
Not on 30 October 2026. The CRP RRBs XV page on ibps.in lists notices only through the vacancy update of 25 September 2026. There is no call letter on that page.
Annexure I as on 25 September 2026 sums to 8,222 posts: SC 1,258, ST 774, OBC (NCL) 1,914, EWS 806 and General 3,470. IBPS calls these indicative. Seats for persons with benchmark disability and ex-servicemen are inside that total, not extra posts. A candidate may also apply for one officer scale.
For every wrong answer in the objective tests, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question is deducted. A question left blank has no penalty. In the main exam the candidate chooses either the English paper or the Hindi paper, not both.
